Top Five Tuesday: Books I would rush to save from a fire without regrets

Flower Bouquet 2

It’s Top Five Tuesday with Bionic Book Worm and this week we get to talk about the extremely heroic deeds we’d for sure do for our books
without hesitation.

I think everyone already knows which books I’m going to save because I talk about the same five in pretty much every post, (I have exactly no control),
soooo I’d love to see in the comments how many you called c:

I JUST LOVE MY BUTTERFLY CHILDREN.

I feel like there are so many books I’d want to rescue from a fire that it would be top five bookshelves rather than top five books! 😀 The Song of Achilles is a great read, and definitely a book that would make my list as well, same with The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue and definitely definitely Carry On. I love that book so much.
One book that would definitely make my list is Harry Potter, kind of cliche but some of the editions I own are important to me so I couldn’t not save them from a fire. 🙂
    Great post. 😀 ❤

OMGGGG AGREED CAN I JUST SAVE ENTIRE SHELVES?????? Song of Achilles makes me so emotional, I refuse to leave my dear pat nad Achilles and snowbaz and sassssyyy monty and sweet percy to the flames, they deserve LOVE. and I almost forgot about Harry Potter!!!!!! I would have to save Goblet of Fire somehow, that was my absolute favorite (even though its spine and pages are so old and used at this point, that just makes them bettterrr). i’m so protective over my gay ships that I forgot about my smol wizards, i’m so sad :c

I loved The Song of Achilles but haven’t quite been brave enough to re-read it because of how emotional it makes me.
My copies of Harry Potter are old and battered, but I love them, and then there are the illustrated editions I own which are too gorgeous and too valuable to leave behind! 🙂

omg yayyyy I knew you would bc we are pat and achilles best fangirls and we protect our sunshinessss
also this post and taught me to always choose roommates who love to read so we can work together and carry the entire shelf to safety as a team bc all the books are precious

Um, yes, this is absolutely the #1 requirement for roommates – a willingness to die for ALL the books. Also, who will rant and fangirl about Pat and Achilles and all the other books.
